In front of him lay a forest of trees, so thick with trunks and leaves there seemed to be no way through. “God dang it. Of course there’s gonna be an impassible grove of trees here. Why not? Make it harder for me.” Toby looked to his left. Nothing but trees as far as he could see. Same thing to the right. And in front of him was the forest. “How am I supposed to get through?” Toby muttered. Then, “Hey! I wonder if I have a bunch of useful stuff in my pocket, like when you’re actually playing?!” Only one way too find out. He stuck his hand in his pocket. Suddenly, a large grid appeared, just hovering in the air before him.
On each of the top four squares on the grid was an object- a pickaxe; a shovel; a regular axe; and a torch- a safety torch! Toby chuckled when he saw it, then reached up and selected the right tool for the job- the axe.

It didn’t chop like a normal axe on a tree in the real world. It chopped up Minecraft style, which meant that after the axe made contact with a certain block several times, that block exploded.
Tobys arms moved faster then he’d known they could, chopping. One tree disappeared, then another, then another. Toby was forging a path through the forest. After a while he paused, and realized he was out of breath and tired. “I hate walking.” Toby muttered. He dropped to the ground, resting his head against a tree trunk. Gryphon lay down next to him, his head on his lap. Tobys eyes slowly started to close….
